Hey guys! Guess what. I'm back from Stand camp! Woohoo!!! It was seriously awesome. We did tons of crazy stuff and stayed up all night and made tons of new friends.
And this camp was wayyyyy more laid back than all the previous camps. I mean, last year at VS Camp we had to eat worms and stand in the hot sun for half an hour without moving and stuff. This year we hardly did anything. We just kinda mooched around :D
But I think the most important bit of it all is I've never felt closer to God than i have before. It was amazing. Almost all the sessions i broke down and cried when they gave altar calls. I mean, God's presence was just so powerful during the camp and I'm sure many other people felt the same way. And the whole camp was about taking a stand for God in our daily lives, which i feel so empowered to do right now. It really was awesome
And our guest pastor was none other than Pastor Samuel Phun, who has been to jail before, has pushed people of buildings, has been involved in homosexual experiences etc. I think he might have killed people before too, but he didn't say. Anyway, his life was so transformed by God, he became a full-time pastor about 22 years ago. Now he's married and has 2 sons. And he must be the only pastor in the world who drives a chopper (you know, those big bikes that look like Harleys?). He even still LOOKS gangsta. He came to camp with bermudas, sneakers, blonde hair with a beanie with sunglasses on it. LOL
What a cool pastor.
Anyway, camp was really awesome. I'm the sort of guy who never picks up the bible, but after camp I seriously started reading my Bible just last night. Pastor Sam addressed alot of issues that can relate to us as teenagers and how we lead our daily lives. I like the way he put it. He said, we are always Christians first and students second. So yea. Which is what I'm going to try to do next year.
And I also made tons of new friends and made better friends with some older friends. Sharon, Kate, Ivan, Nick, Tiffany. Kenneth, Danie, Mitch, Debbie, Ho Chih Ming (thats also a city in Vietnam), Kit Soon, Joshua and Joshua. It was really great.
Yea. So church camp was really really good. I hope that next years one will be even better.
BYEBYE Y'ALL

I Buy Things
Woooooohoooooooo. Went Christmas shopping today and bought tons of stuff.
Also got a new game for my Ds. It's called The World Ends With You. Its a super cool game, done by Square Enix (for those non-gamers, Square Enix are the makers of the Final Fantasy series. And if you don't know what Final Fantsay is, forget it) and it's really tough. If you have a DS, GO GET IT.

I also finally got the second book of the Scarecrow series by Matthew Reilley, called 'Area 7'. Can't wait to read that.
And I also finally got my capo. Wahahahahahahaa

A Christmas Story
The last rays of the dying sun lazily splashed across the blanket of powder snow that was so softly strewn across the front of the small house, giving the white snow an eerie orange glow. It was the day telling us that it's time had ended for now, thus giving night its chance to come out and amaze us. And a special day it was to be, as all sorts of hustle and bustle went inside the small house that very evening.
The house was a fairly simple house, built from simple wood and nails. Large plain logs made up the small house's four walls. Its simple snow-covered roof, too made from logs, produced a single stout chimney that billowed puffy clouds of warm smoke. Its front door, painted in a coat of bright beautiful red, bore a single wreath of holly with a red ribbon tied to it. As the sun set and the moon took over, a brilliant yellow light suddenly went on in the house and radiated through the windows.
Inside the house, a small boy with rosy cheeks and brilliant deep blue eyes quietly sat himself down at the wooden dining table. His name was Emmett. Though he was young, he had a serious face, hidden behind a mop of thick black hair that hung over his forehead, contrasting his porcelain white skin.
Hmm. I'm stuck. But its supposed to end like this...
But as Emmett rushed downstairs, a sudden change rushed over him. A wave of excitement and sheer euphoria suddenly surged throughout his body, electrifying every single nerve in him. It was an amazing feeling. He suddenly felt like he was flying, weightless just like air. Splashes of white, green and red danced before his eyes. Mistletoe, wreaths of holly, presents, angels, snowmen, reindeer, all floated before him in the surreal world Emmett had suddenly entered. It was as if he had been suddenly hit by the Spirit of Christmas.
All of a sudden, it all melted away before Emmet's eyes and in front of him stood his family. Father, Mother and (sister's name) all smiling right at him eyes alight with passion. And behind them, a single bare enormous pine tree. If trees could look beautiful, this pine tree; this Christmas tree, would be its very epitome. Emmett walked toward the tree in wonder, marvelling its size and its very presence. He then turned around and came face to face with my family.
